FFVII Question

note: If u want to know the BIG ASS spoiler try 2 decifer the code
4 the words

Note 2:***** **** **** *** ****its like the 1st code from Dino Crisis

note 3:take out the letters/numbers from the code as the Key goes in Order(sorry if this isnt clear 2 understand)

Note 4 if u haven't played FF7 or havent gotten 2 diz part dont decipher the code!

Code: czoymxewsv ubqapclkj firgo1m4 2t3h7e8 d9e0a5d
key: z y x w v u q p l j i g 1 4 2 3 7 8 9 0 5

You could have just put *SPOILER* in the top of your post. Anyways, the answer to your question is yes. After doing a couple things in the Japanese verison, you can return Aeris back to your party.

The reason why they took it out is because they had to reach deadlines to get it out in the US. Although, if Aeris did stay, it'd be way too easy.

Spoilers ahead! if you hadn't already worked out there would be!

I've always remained cynical about this. The "deadline" excuse makes very, very little sense:
Firstly, because up-rooting every last scene where Aeris appears after she is killed (they must have, as there is nothing accessable by a gameshark - nothing hides from those things.), then play-testing to check that the game doesn't suddenly loose itself and crash, would probably take the same, if not more time to program.
Secondly, why would they go to all the trouble of implementing two entirely new optional boses, only end up getting rid of the resurection of a main character?
and thirdly, has anyone on the face of this planet ever seen any of these scenes? why are there no images on the net. (having said that, It is possible that FFVII: International was supposed to have an "Aeris Resurection" FMV on it, though it wasn't actually linked into the game at all.)

No, no no no no!

You CANNOT revive Aeris! The only way it is possible is cheating via a Gameshark - but you can get Sephiroth in your party this way too so that don't mean anything!

Final Fantasy VII is FIVE years old!!! Don't you think by now that if you could resurrect Aeris, someone would have done it by now?

In NO version of FFVII have you ever been able to revive her... Her death is an integral part of the story...

I wish Square would release an official statement - then finally, much like Aeris, this bloody rumour could stay dead...

The thing is. I think square have said so. The trouble is, but thats only the US and European Square presences (SE put it in the FAQ on www.square-europe.com). Consequently people were intelligent enough to figure out that very few are going to find offical announcements in Japanese, so the infamous "Its in the Japanese version" (everytime somthing is disproved, thats immediatly the excuse) come in to play, and everyone is left without a way to prove it.
