Sir Fratley's Song
Like the very first time to the world I open my eyes
I was dead and then without a reason I was reborn Now tasting the chill of the wind I claim my vice But there's something lost floating in memories torn I wander to catch petals and leaves and merry perfumes Immersing my head in those watery days of Fate I'll call the name I cannot forget from ancient tunes And someday I'll be back to your unknown shade Come, come find me at the bottom of this wishing well Till dawn fades floating remembrance's left about Show me the way out from a solitary obscured shell Confusion got me and I saw my dark sun burning out Following the course of eternal seasons existance ain't a waste Stuck to a fragment of inner stability, not living in haste. Note: this a little unuseful poem written two years ago. I'm not used to fan fictions writing, so this is probably the only "fan fiction" I've ever written. It's not particularly good, maybe because my knowledge of English is quite poor for these purposes. I don't know. I'm not satisfied with it, but I found it in my hard disk and I thought to post it anyway. For those who don't know, Sir Fratley is secondary character from Final Fantasy 9. |

Fortune, I'm blessing you with good english for the rest of your life. That explains why I'm getting worse. Gwah hahah...

I would have to say I was quite drawn into this poem and hung on to every single word. I think your English flows beautifully from word to word and speaks the story you tell in this poem masterfully. This character's story is already pulling on my heart strings! I'm very inspired to buy FF9 now. It's quite evident from your writing what an experience the storyline must be. I think this song should be in the game!
