MIKE (A Poem about a guy names Mike)

Mike is my name,
You know it dont wear it out,
Yes I am young,
Maybe a few younger than he,
My friends dont like me,
If I had some they wont,
I live my life by a book,
A place where I can escape,
I know everyone likes me there,
But I hope they do to,
By the people I speak of,
ohhhh yes the dead the few,
Tomorrow is the last,
The last book I will read!

I shall venture in this lil contest!

As I say the first ligh,
I knew I was gunna to love,
She is the first,
I couldnt breath the first touch,
Almost died on the second,
She makes me feel right,
but I do not like it light,
one time the light was not seen,
it was last night,
it was dark,
very dark,
I couldnt see a thing,
It wasnt to good,
soo many bumbs on the way so many lumps,
My head was hurting,
with the pain of her dead!

For Reflection's Sake
A 16-year resident upon this spinning sphere
16 turns of the calendar residing in my mind
time frozen forever-
passes from my fingers,
akin to grasping water
akin to a mother and father
while one was there, but rare
the other, well, never even bothered...
I used to wonder, hell, who really cared...
Whether living dead or some other
I tried to hide my internal despair
made it by by the hairs on my head
I fled instead with tears confined down inside
I dined at the table of lies
every day an All Hallow’s Eve,
the mask of deception I bore
always fearing what life had in store
for yours truly because problems, they knew me
with a little smile and a laugh though I quickly found,
I could tell people what they wanted to hear
without making a sound
but then I found myself within my great grandmother
the greatest woman to live, a soul like no other
led me from the pain, the terror and anguish,
taught me the discipline of God’s language
my outlook grew brighter, as so did I
the dagger of life desired me to die
to old ways
but that’s okay
because my old flesh was slain
replaced by a plain
but complex index, a transient new plane
a new game I knew to truly have a chance
to win, and with it I am entranced.

Within Darkness there is always a light!

Dark walls surround me,
My cries for help remain unheard
Nothingness sits atop my shoulders
How useless is a single word
The light at the end of my tunnel
Must be miles and miles away
Within the darkness of my world
The path I travel becomes easier to stray
I wander from the path, I end up punished
No one is there to grab my hand
I need someone to stand by me;
Love's better than a reprimand
You do not care nor bother
to acknowledge my being, just like the others.
I do not need someone like you
I need somebody caring and true.
With hopelessness surrounding me,
I see the light, however dim.
As long as I see just a glimpse
I will forever follow it.

I dont know yo, I have tons of poems and songs, but these contests are no good. I mean we've had tons of other contest and everything before, but NEVER got the results out. Whenever its time to see the results..... nobody says a thing. And then the thread dies in dust.

Every which way doth it fall yesterday.
Out of no where, it did come into sight.
Wonderful. As the day grew old, 'tis white.
'Long the clouds' lining 'twas swept underway.
Gifts, delicate and thin, break they just may.
Hastly falling, transformed a vi'lent night.
Blocking the way it hath absolute freight.
On the ground, a soft covering, it lay.
These tastes of heaven unlock from his key.
Many object the breast of frozen life.
But when they fell all my worries did lift.
To the Lord, for this mir'cle, I thank thee.
'Though life can cause death like an ed-ged knife,
We're the wind directing that snow, be swift!
