OK I dont play Rpgs games....... at all, but from what I have played, I'll mention down the ones I think were pretty nice and I enjoyed.
3.) Galariens 2.) FF VIII 1.) Vagrant Story (Thats a great game) Ive played FFX's demo only. And it was quite intresting.

Hmm well i'd say...
5) Suikoden - Been ages since I played it but its a masterpeice, the challenge of obtaining all 108 stars of destiny combined with an exellent story and some very well developed emotion from the "hero" and the girl I cant remember the name of ^_^ 4) FFVI - Great snes game and now psone game (loading times are rediculous though) The soundtrack was great for its time and still is, interesting and gripping storyline with well developed sub plots. 3) Neverwinter Nights - I love this, great soundtrack, fun to xp, all the elements of DaoC I liked and Baldurs Gate into one amazing. 2 and 1 tied) FFVIII, FFVII and FFX - Basically FFX was linear but, it had such an emotional storyline togetehr with fitting music and exellent characters PLUS tonne of side quests. FFVIII again very emotional which I liked and some exellent characters and a great setting. Although the only thing I can say I didnt like about FFVIII was the opening after doing it ocne its just pure tedioum untill after Dollet. FFVII I dont think I have to say anything about this, graphics seem dated now but had a great story/characters/OST everything.

has there ever been a non-linear rpg for the ps2 like morrowind for the xbox/pc? i was just wondering that there! but i dunno if a ps2 could handle a world as immense as morrowind, its very very huge! plus unlike FF or whatever, you needn't have to follw a story, there is a main story plot, but this is a minor plot when compared to all the other missions and freelance work you get from guilds and npc's, i advise you get this game if you've got no plans for a month.

A month?! Pff I've been at that game for at least 2 and I'm no where close to beating it...well actually I can't beat it, I've slaughtered key members in the main story so I'm screwed. That's one bad thing about Morrowind...if you don't be careful and watch who your killing you could lose all hope for completing the game...
Speaking of non linear RPG's mark...when's Fable due out for the box?
