I agree. Moderation is important. Most people when it comes to food don't know what moderation is. They think they can swallow anything in massive doses and then they're upset if they get sick or if they become fat. It's ridiculous.

I know what you mean. As a matter of fact just today when i came home, I was hungry because I didnt eat anything all day. I was hoping to make a nice PB & J sandwich but no bread. This always happens in my house. When Iwant to make a sandwich, I am always missing one ingredient. Since I was so hungry I took a hot dog bun and slapped some peanut butter and jelly on it. It was very bready.
I should weigh 300lbs by now, I usually eat everything in sight. I mus thave a high metabolisim, I run nearly every day.

But again, depends on the case. I doubt anybody just eats because of hunger. Probably some of the people who replied in this thread don't swallow food because of hunger only as well. Many do it to find distraction, many for seeking relief from stress, depressive moods and so on. Not that this is always abnormal, but sometimes it is. You cannot talk about this topic without considering all these factors. |

Because of me bodybuilding, I'm on a rather strict diet which includes six meals a day. It takes a lot of discipline and motivation to succeed in keeping up that schedule. For me it's rather easy to gain or lose weight it's kinda of a math thing. You must know what your body needs in calories on a average day and and exceed that or keep under it. If most started to read about the subject of weightloss instead of just starving themselves it would be a lot easier, it's sometimes even better to eat more meals a day in order to get your metabolisme(???) going to loss weight than to just eat less.
It's quiet strange but in fact when you're hungry your already late with a meal cause your bound to eat too much, it's better to know "ok it's been two hours since my last meal I better grab something to eat before I get hungry". Your stomach needs about 20 minutes to give a sign to your brain that it is full, so if you eat fast you can easily eat way more than your stomach can handle and your bound to make your stomach grow which means in the long run your going to eat more and more.
