Yeah one of the rumors is that the 360 may have DMC4 also, i know its probably not true, though. Lotta rumors for sure, bro, just hope that the ps3 can definitely pump out some major titles this year and make it worth buying for me.

Yeah DMC4 is multi-plat, comes out in a couple weeks.
Well Farf old friend, if the 2008 lineup doesn't impress you, I am afraid the next gen probably won't ever pull you in. I love the system and play it way to much lol. If you get a chance, try out Uncharted, I really think you would love it.

To be honest, im really digging the ps2 right now. And the library is already there, so when and if the time is right, which i think it will be, the ps3 will be great stuff. I have a feeling that Sony will be doing things to help encourage more companies to get involved with their system. The innovation of the original ps and sony's way of working with companies set it up to be probably the greatest system ever. They have fed off that original enthusiasm and hype for some time now and need to go back to some of their roots to create new and enjoyable gaming experiences. The nice thing is the ps3 will be around a long time i expect and those of us who want to get into it can pretty much at any point in time over the next 5 years. ps2 is pretty fun right about now and im grateful to sony for supporting the system for as long as they have, its definitely experiencing a great longevity!

^ I agree with you on about the ps2, and I regret getting rid of mine. But hopefully, I will have it back by Tuesday. (Just waiting on my god brother to bring it to me.)
But, yeah, the ps2 has quite a few games that I want to try out at this moment. Tales of the Abyss is one of those games, as well as Valkyrie Profile 2. And they've redone tons of old 2D fighters which is a plus since I want to get back into the old fighting games. With all that being said, though, I want some of my old games back. As far as the ps3 goes. I don't know. Whether the ps3 is around or not is something that don't affect me. If, indeed, there is another price drop will be fine and all, but that still won't be all that convincing for me. Quote:
But on the upside, I do feel that you can't go wrong with whatever next gen console you buy. I'm staying old school for the time being.

It was a pretty good weekend of games for me: snagged some PS2 RPG's I've been meaning to get into - Xenosaga II (6 bucks!) and Valkyrie Profile 2 (13 bucks! Phenom: check KMart for that deal) - and went ahead to take advantage of a sale at Target and nabbed Warhawk, with help from a coupon, for $35. That, and with both Patapon and God of War coming for the PSP in the next week and a half...phew, this is definitely gonna keep me busy for awhile
