fusion is dismissal,
dismissed into allusions
while smiles warrant unhappiness,
joy’s confused with sorrow,
love gives way to hatred,
hatred breaks down into tomorrow,
war’s pacifistic by nature,
peace is a constant struggle,
the battle is never won,
victory is never final,
finality is temporary
because change is ever present,
a God that died is here,
vulgarity’s mixed with pleasant,
peasants may rise to Kings,
Kingdoms will always fall,
fall and get back up,
get back up and you will stumble
lack modesty and you’ll be humbled,
humility is the key,
keys can’t always open,
what’s closed may soon be free,
freedom is confinement,
confinement may liberate,
teacher’s can become students,
students can teach us hate,
students become our leaders,
leaders get back in line,
lines may bend and curve,
what’s broad will become fine,
a broad may become fine,
but evil may hide inside,
insides worn on our sleeves,
the destitute can achieve,
pain can be relief,
what’s firm will tend to slide;

WOah thats a good one dude. Its really amazing. I liked the whole thing i cannot pick up my favorite line. I wonder..do you write often? did you write that poem before and posted it here later on?

Well I wrote it the same day... I used to write a lot, but lately I've been a bum... lol. I've been writing for fun a little over a year now. I just wanted to try something totally different than my norm with this, and I think I did pretty well. Thanks for the reply, I'm really happy you enjoyed it

Whoa, man. The pattern of cycling back and forth and making opposites begat opposites and the deep points that they all seem to make powerfully...I'm at a loss of word on how great this poem is. It is truly powerful in a way I envy. I do not know if mine can have that much power in that certain style which is hard to speak so inspirationally...so I envy you. "Confinement can liberate"...that's one of my fav's by the way.

The rythm of the poem and the deep meaning of it was what kept me hooked to read it all the way. Im not a big poem reader, but i decided to try a bit and mess around...when i read that poem it just makes me want to search around for some other cool poems. (I wonder where this dude comes up with these things^_^)
