I was thinkin of buying FFX, but then I rememmbered FFVII. Should I buy an old, very good game, or the best RPG on next gen. consoles.

providing that you've never got very far on FFVII before, buy that. FFVII is considerably better in just about every department, not that FFX is a bad game... its just a worse game...

I'd have to agree. go with ff7. ffx has a lot better graphics, nut it is very linear and you dont have as many side quests. ff7 has a better plot, options for secret characters, and a few side quests along the way. also, you have the secret final bosses, and i dont think ffx has any.

FFVII is really beginning to looks its age, however it is my opinion that the game is overall a better one than X. After all, VII is my favourite. However, for your first FF I think that maybe X might be the better bet. It's simpler than VII and will introduce you to a lot of the concepts used in previous FF's. - S

it does have side quests and the dark aeons, but i didnt remember anything that was harder than the final boss. i liked the fact that you have another boss that is a challenge for the gaamers who really like the game, instead of the normal boss that everyone has to face.

I would get both. FFVII is really cheap now. You can get FFX cheap if you buy it used. If you still dont have that much money, you can wait till you get christmas money. I always get a lot of christmas money.
