No Expression.
THis poem i woke up today at 815 am and wrote... i had a really 'bad' dream and this is what it produced.
i wake up covered with fear and sweat Bathed in the pain of my regret The pain i feel inside would kill a normal man i'm less than any of you so i do the best i can The things i love in life can be defined by one thing One single beautiful person to who i'de give a ring But covered with regret cause i know i'll never have her again i awaken discouraged waiting to see my end I could go back to sleep but what is the point when i wake up again i'll want her even worse this early sunday morning it all becomes more clear the razor on my bedstand becomes more near i run it down my arm carving out your name as my last blood drips out of my veins a crimson tear stains my face. i would have looked forever, but none can replace. you.

This strikes home because I can completely and totally relate to the feeling a bad dream can have on you, especially when just waking from it. This poem I think captures the feeling very well. It's a time when your still caught up in every emotional aspect of the dream and the fact that it was "just a dream" doesn't really matter cuz of the subject matter and the emotions themselves... they are as real as any emotions you experience while awake... sometimes even more so. Any poem written this well about waking up from a horrible dream is worth a close look everytime and lots of praise. Keep em comin homes.
