Metal Gear Acid. OMG!
I have no words for this. I am going crazy once again. Just look at the screens for this "PSP" Playstation Portable title. Its called.. Metal Gear ACID and its an ALL NEW ADVENTURE.
WOW WOW WOW.!.!. https://image.com.com/gamespot/images..._screen001.jpg https://image.com.com/gamespot/images..._screen002.jpg https://image.com.com/gamespot/images..._screen003.jpg

Yes, I saw these shots yesterday and concluded that Nintendo's days are numbered so long as they're trying to sell an ugly gimmick console with pitiful graphics capability. +1 for being a Metal Gear game. +1 for looking better than Metal Gear Solid 1! This could be VERY promising.

I'm torn on this one.
On one hand it does look good and it's a Metal Gear game but on the other the gameplay sounds really . . . well, not that exciting. It'll be interesting to see what develops out of this. At least it's kind of cool to see two Metal Gear Solid games being worked on at once and I'm sure at least the story should be interesting if it's written by Hideo Kojima. |

Have any of you lot seen the video for it? it looks soooo good. you sort of chose cards to use against your opponent i suppose they may be like head shot or punch or something like that but I think it will be amazing. Has kojima ever let us down? well sort of with Raiden but the game was amazing in the end and I think this will be too

Maybe I'm bias, but I think this game will only sell with the Metal Gear fans. Or perhaps the uninformed who think it's a regular Metal Gear game on a portable system -- a portable system that only allows gaming for 3 hours. Huh, well... I don't think Nintendo's days are number, it' more lik Sony's hours are. Or something.
In conclusion, this game looks boring and the PSP won't do as good as you guys think. Okay. And if it does, you can ban me for two months.

Yes but acid goes for a more tactical approach. You cant just run around and hide anymore because it plays more like an evloved finala fantasasy. It feels like your actually playing on a virtual chess baord. You move around by picking diffrerent cards taking turns I think.I am very tactical so I might get this game. The graphics look smooth and the gameplay looks smooth also I guess, since its tactical. |

This game should be very interesting. Seeing Snake be in a board type game format. Should be cool though since it is MGS. Just have to wait till I get the PSP.

Honestly I am not too excited about this particular game. I expect Metal Gear gameplay in a metal gear game, not a board game.
But I can´t say anything until I play it myself.

sucktacular and craplicious
As a long time MGS fan, I am going to say this...
THIS GAME IS GOING TO BE TERRIBLE. I am not going to get a PSP, I AM going to get a DS...and the whole concept of PSP is terrible. The majority of PS2 fans are people who consider the whol "kiddie handheld" thing to be under them...I know...this system is going to be the next N-Gage. |
