Has anyone seen this awesome anime yet. I just got 2 episodes and saw about half of the third episode. Really cool, it starts out somewhat like Chobits and then gets away from that. Tis be 13 episodes too.

On a day that seemed ordinary, a spaceship crash landed in Tokyo bay, filled to the brim with beautiful aliens that would come to be known as DearS. Since that day, though all of Japan seems to have gone DearS-crazy, one high school boy named Takeya it still not impressed by the phenomenon. But things change for Takeya when he finds a lone DearS girl on the side of the road, who forces herself into his apartment, and his life! Now, he must brave a plethora of complications, misunderstandings, and embarassments, when all he wants to do is be left alone!

I would buy it, but what place is selling it. I think that it is pretty new in Japan too. Other than that. Yah, it is an awesome anime. Haven't seen Onegai Teacher, so I wouldn't know if it is like it, but if it is, it must be pretty good.

DearS is more of a cute series, there are some action scenes but they are most to the end of the series(hope that didn't spoil anything, as it wasn't ment to)
but it's a good anime, and worth watching.
if i were to rate it, i'd probally give it a 7 out of 10.
saying that, i'm really into the cute animes and avoid the all action ones in general now(dragonball /Z /GT can mentally affect you for years, as it's done me )

if you want to get an idea of the cute animes, here's a small list of my fav's:
love hina, onegai teacher/twins, i my me strawberry eggs, azumanga daioh, chobits.
i have seen all 13 episodes of Elfen Lied and it was good too(abit bloody at start)
currently getting and watching :
Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~(good anime, cute, about a vampire girl, the 1st 10 episodes have been subbed by various subbing groups and are still in progress subbing the rest)
Mahou Sensei Negima (another one of Ken Akamatsu animes, currently has 1st 2 episodes subbed, with others on the way)
all current information has been gathered from animesuki, the best place to find the latest subbed episodes for free downloading(all unlicenced in usa, as soon as usa licenced, animesuki removed them from there database)

yep, and i'm blitzing the anime part of this forum.

anyway, to get on subject.

DearS is about this guy, who finds this naked girl, she get's up an kisses him, then faints. that basically the 1st 5 minutes of the 1st episode,but it get's alot more cute.

you should watch these anime, it's light on the action but heavy on the cute. not to mention the last episode is pretty good as last episodes go that is.
and the best part is the last episode left it open for a 2nd season while not leaving too many loose ends(which some do) that get you irriated on the fact you have to wait until the 2nd season to get those answers to the questions always in ur head
