Final Fantasy XI (online)
Final Fantasy is an ONLY online game right?
When Final Fantasy realeses in North America is it possible for European (Norway) users to play the game or is it restricted to America? Phataas |

It'd make little sense to make an online system that excludes Europeans, as they're probably won't be that many of them... a fact that makes a FFXI release - on PS2 at least - a bleak and possibly unlikely prospect. I'm not entirely sure how communication is handled btw. I'm assuming that English is adopted as the "offical" language, but some kind of phrase selection option may be available (ie. I click "Hello", and anyone set to French language sees "Bonjour")

I did't mean to ask if the game language was Norwegian, but Me that live in Europe (Norway) can play the game from norway or does it only work in North America?

Oh right... you mean the North American version . Well, 1 clue is given in what I already said. Europeans and Americans have been succesfully playing the Japanese version of FFXI since its release, so your locality isn't going to be a problem. Hardware may be though. I'm unsure whether the US Network Adapter and US HDD will be compatable with the EU playstation 2s. I'm pretty sure that Those playing the Japanese version had to have all Japanese hardware, and the same would be true of the US version - you're likely to need a US PS2, HDD and Network Adapter.
If you're that desperate get the PC version. PCs don't have none of the regional lock-out poo - the only barrier may be registration, which may require you to provide a valid North American address (it was the same with the JP version).
