Easiest?
Which is easiest and less challenging among all FF games?
I'm asking this question to those who have played at least 3 or 4 games of the series ^_^;

I personally found out of FF6, 7 , 8, 9 & 10 that FF8 was by far the easiest!
I can't remember a single battle I struggled with, nor did I do any kind of levelling up! - S

I think the easiest is Final Fantasy 9. At least in Final Fantasy 8 some time is required to understand the junction system and I think the final battle was quite amusing anyway, while in FF9 you don't even need to fight much to improve your characters and complete the game.

I have to agree with Rei, I believe FFIX is one of the most easist FFs, which I've played so far.
I've completed it far more quicker then any of the other FFs which I have played so far

I found X to be quite easy...because you could get ridiculously strong...
IX was quite easy as well

Yes, maybe Final Fantasy 9 was the easiest, but I wouldn't call it less challenging. I'd say Final Fantasy X is the less challenging to me.
In general, the latest Final Fantasy games are not difficult ones. I find the older ones much more difficult. |

well... the shortest i'd say is FFVI (Its only about 30hrs to do everything) But its isn't exactly the "easiest" - FF6 and FF9 seem shorter in some way, but the fact that they don't really have some all powerful summon, magic or technique makes for an all round harder game.
In my opinion, the easiest is probably actually FFVII. If it wasn't for Emerald and Ruby (not in the original Japanese version anyway) the game would barely have any challenge at all. FFVII was really as simple as getting Knights of the Round, and then it was practically game over. FFVIII wasn't that much harder either - Though at least using "boost" on Eden required you to do more than sit on your bottom watching the pretty flashing lights, and Lionheart required you to just "get lucky"... Oh and FF: Mystic Quest is the definative "Easy" game. But then its also one of the worst games I've ever played anyway

I couldnt agree more with a couple of these posts, I do generally find the older ones harder but like Artists said they are generally shorter.
Personally I loved FF9 had a very powerfull story and exellent OST, though my opinions n that have been voiced many a time in threads prior to this one. On a final note Artists started FF7 again? explain?

It'd been quite a while since i'd played FFVII before, so I decided to go through again. Not that I missed anything the first time through, but I do sometimes go through these things more than once ^_^

Final Fantasy 2 wasn't very hard at all. They seem to get a little tougher as the series progresses. Although FFVIII sorta ease things up with it's magic system.

FF 10. It was ridiculously simple. Sure it was *long* but as far as a *challenge*, no way.
I think FF4 was the hardest just 'cause it took long to level up. |

They all felt easy to me (not a piece of cake, but easy, one challenge in a while.... )
There was no "easiest" FF for me.
