What would you change about yourself?

Most people would say they want to be thinner or more buff. Maybe you just wish you had some kind of talent. Whatever it is, talk about it here. Personally, aside from wanting to shed a couple of pounds, I just wish I had a quicker wit.

EDIT: Haha, so my arrogancy showed somewhat in this post. Once I think about it I would try to shed a few pounds and get my six pack back. Also I guess for me not to procrastinate so much.

Hmmm, what would i change about myself is i had the chanse? Let me think. uhh...

First of all, my lack of knowlege and wisdom, intellegence, and anything that could support the meaning of the word smart. Yeah, i'm missing a lot of that. A better vocabulary, GPA, IQ, some wit, and the ability to say that i know more about anything than someone else.

My personality is also a bother. I'm loud, obnoxious, annoying, talk too much with never much of anything of interest to say. I'm slow, and can't seem to take a hint. I don't have any balls to stand up formyself, or others for that matter. I'm a chicken sh*t, and don't do well under pressure. It's hard for me to express my feelings to people, mainly those of the opposite sex, and to act like a normal person. And i have nothing going for me in the good looking person catagory.

I'd love to have a bit of athletical abilities, like running, swimming, lifting, anything that takes good hand-eye coordination. I've never been good at sports, of any kind, and always got my ass handed to me whenever i tried.

I have no musical talents, playing or singing anything, even though i have tried, and failed on numerous accounts.

I am very incompetant and always need others to help me in doing anything. Along with that, i am a huge procrastinator, and not much of a leader at that.

I have a POS job, and need a better one, but can't seem to get one.

The only thing i can do is draw, and i still need a lot of work on that. So the things i'd like to change about myself are all of the things mentioned above.

Oh, sure, Im overweight, horibly unatractive, dangeresly stupid, and could probly pass as a gorilla (or so Im told, no joke

If I could change a couple of things, it'd be:

1) To be less arrogant/snooty
2) To be much more intelligent and wiser
3) To be a much better artist
4) To be much more confident and less spineless
5) To be more social and more friendlier

Hmm....there's probably more, but that's all I can think of for now.

The main thing I would change about my self, Is to have much more confident! Im terrible, im alirght talking to people, but not very enthusiastic, even got a job but it has'nt helped completey, I can talk to girls, but my confident level could drop, so I can either just relax or just dont give a ---- mode! which im no good at either.

I consider myself well balanced, ie. I'm not a genius at anything, but i'm terrible at only a handful of things, and doing pretty well at most things. I have a number of personality defects that could do with ironing out... and one of these is kind of all consuming and glaringly obvious to most people i know... well, most who know well well enough to know who i alledgedly am. Except my parents, who live on a cloud or somthing.

Interesting topic. If you asked me a few years ago I would have said my looks, but in recent times I've felt better about that. My main problem was the acne, but now it seems I might find a way to get rid of it though I hear I got the kinda acne that could leave scars. I just wish I was more talkative, I was never good at that especially towards the ladies. My hand-eye coordination sucks, but I guess it might be getting better. Confidence was a thing too, it kinda still is but not as bad as before I guess. That's about it.

I'm pretty happy with myself, of course everybody has their flaws.
The one thing I wish I could change about my looks is my nose, I've broken it twice with the result that it now looks like the beak of an eagle( at least my friends tell me so). But then again it's the imperfections that make you stand out from the crowd right?

Im pretty happy with myself too. I think i would have to change is my fear of bugs and urban stories. some other things but i can live without thinking about them too much so i got to say that those two are like the most important.

Too many things, but at the same time I wouldn't have wanted to turn out any different than the person I am in terms of so many things, does anybody know what I mean? I feel I am a creative and imaginative person in such a way that I would not want to have to give that up in order to have lived my life too differently up until now. At the same time, I have a lot of regrets as to things I've missed out on that I really wish I would have done by now, but I know so many things are in my future and one can never run out of possibilities unless something disastrous happens. Then again I am always in fear that the disastrous will happen and I will not complete my goals that will lead me to happiness, but well at least tonight I am not going to worry about it because I spend so much of my life worrying about it. There's a big thing I would change...being able to not worry myself quite literally sick over not finding the right things in life that I yearn for, etc.

We are all too hard on ourselves and reading some of the posts in this thread I can definately think of some examples. We all tend tot label ourselves too this or too that or not good enough at something when others might have no idea you felt that way based on what they know of you. That's the thing. We all need to learn to ask others who are our friends and supporters who know something about us their opinions before knocking ourselves. Ignore those who don't have constuctive criticism.

Hmm.. given the chance?

I'd grant myself longer fingers (shortish fingers has always been something I picked at about myself. argh).. and the ability to expertly play the acoustic guitar (Mariachi style. Bwa.)

While I'm at it I'd add another couple of inches to myself. Height and otherwise. Never exactly gotten any complaints, and I'm already pretty tall (6'1 1/2) but hey. Mobebetta.

I'd up the IQ as well.. being a bonafide genius would be cool. Though I'd chop out the innate arrogance (see: bastard) I have in my attitude. *chuckles* And insert some humility, because bristling under authority has cost me at least one job (though not this last job, which I lost because of the economy).

Remove the need to talk so feckin' much as well. Being silent and stoic is cool, and makes everything you say at least seem more important.

Can't really think of anything else though. 'cept giving myself a job designing games instead of looking for one continuing to work up designs for houses & shyte.

I wouldn't change anything about myself i'm happy with the way I am. At the moment everything is going as good as I would want it to go so as the old saying goes "if it aint broke don't fix it".
