Thoughts on "Knockin' on Heaven's Door"

I watched it today...I was doing homework at the time so I wasn't paying all that much attention...like 60% of my attention was on Bebop...but I thought it was pretty good. Especially at the beginning...It was cool when:

I can't wait to see ^ in the English voices. I LOVE the dub to that show.

I saw this on... Sunday, yeah. Like you, I was doing homework... but I quickly put that away

In any case, I think the movie was alright. To tell the truth, I had been anticipating this movie for quite a while, in hopes of it being spectacular or something.
I must say, I wasn't that impressed. The visuals looked good, but the story, I found, was staggering at some points.

I also disliked Faye's role very much.

But aside from these minor flaws (not so clear story and some role stoppages ), this movie was pretty good.

Spike made and impressive character and really added to the hook. The ending was pretty cool, nonetheless.

I ordered it a while back... but never went to actually pick it up until this Sunday. I lack spare time *sigh*

This, I don't think, is licensed in the U$ yet. I just didn't want to wait 'till it's released here, if that ever even happens, so I got an import ( which is a nicer term for "bootleg" ^_^). Bah.

Yea, the store near me got the "Import" version...they also got Stand Alone Complex, and I'll tell you that the first two episodes are awesome.

Especially at the beginning...It was cool when: Spoiler: show Spike shot that dude who was holding the old lady and she was like "who...who are you?" and he say ssomething like "just your regular space cowboy" and spun his gun around and it went to the opening credits...that was really cool. I can't wait to see ^ in the English voices. I LOVE the dub to that show.

Spoiler: show For example the whole case with Vincent and Electra: they should have given more of a background with that. Having Electra just bluntly say that ( or more like imply ) she had once loved Vincent and was now after him only to help him was insane. I was like " wtf ? " I also disliked Faye's role very much. Spoiler: show Throughout the entire movie, the only meaningful thing I saw her actually do was at the beginning when she was chasing down that "terrorist" guy. Other than that, she ended up doing very little, really, and didn't make nearly enough appearances as to fulfill an important part of the story, imo. But aside from these minor flaws (not so clear story and some role stoppages ), this movie was pretty good. Spike made and impressive character and really added to the hook. The ending was pretty cool, nonetheless.
