Half Life 2
Has anyone seen the trailer to this game? its in the xbox world mag, it has just BLEW me away, the textures, backgrouds everything is AMAZING, this games just wipes the floor with halo 2, mgs3, GT4 (non of the them are releases but it will), it might be on xbox but no way can it handle this game, its will have to be toned down alot, I wish I had a high, high spec PC, you guys should see this game, its gameplay and AI and is fantastic. Any opinions????

https://www.gamespydaily.com/news/fullstory.asp?id=5138 - confirms the intention for an XBox release. Though not until the PC version is out. The Bad News is that the XBox falls a few generations behind the top range of PCs (which were used to show off HL2 at E3), so the XBox versions won't look much like the PC versions. They'll be nice enough though, and of the standard of the average PC version (speaking right now though... By the time the XBox is out, many people will have much better PCs, and the XBox version may look ugly to many.)
Incidently, it was said that the full quality of HL2's graphics is yet to be seen: The character models in the E3 versions are the best that will be released, but Valve reportadly has even more complex versions that they'll release later on. Not even somthing like the Radeon 9800 Pro is capable of displaying them with a decent frame-rate, or so Valve Say. What we've already got is pretty spectacular though. The Physics are outstanding (I'll never look at a Radiator in the same way...), The Characters are ever so lifelike (liked the lip-synching that worked as well for English as Chinese) and the set-pieces they showed were awesome (when Alyx gasps and the Hydra stabs that solider and throws him around ). Can't wait. If my constant prattling about it in the partiular section of the forums hadn't already alerted you all to this ^_^

You can download a 200+ MB movie from planethalflife.com the game looks so amazing, it's completely different than any other videogame it looks so detailed that I can't believe it. I must MUST have this, the only problem is it's gonna need a hell of PC to run it like it supossed to be. I'm seriously thinking about spending alot of cash in order to make my PC powerful enough to run this gem.

hmm... i'm trying to not get too excited, lest I be disappointed a'la Unreal 2... Regardless though, Half-Life 2 will bring enough innovative features (including the refining of features like Model Rag-Dolls) to stand on its own as somthing important for all games... And I really do want to know what happened after Gordon stepped through that door...
must remain unbiased
