Find a URL that you can download them from, or use a file sharing program (i.e. Kazaa, Imesh) to get the files.
They have already done the work in making into an .avi or .mpg file for the PC.

I think that will be a second choice.
There must be a program out there. And by the way, I tried putting my PS2 DVD in my PC-DVDRom and my laptop's DVDRom and it wasn't read in either, any ideas? |

Well, If I'm correct there's some way that you can hook up the playstation to your PC, if so I don't see why you can't do it with a PS2. Just don't ask me how cause I have no idea.

This is not tried and tested (by anyone here), but have a peak (download) of "FFX Ripper" and FFX2Mov from the Japanese page below. I can't help you with how they work, but I will see if I can get them to work tomorrow (I need rest!)... These tools were mentioned when searching google for "PS2 FMV Ripping" or somthing. Also, its worth mentioning that whoever developed the tools did not have access to a PAL copy of FF 10 - the tools supposedly don't work with them (ie. I probably can't test them anyway - Europe / Australia are PAL territories). -> https://www.geocities.co.jp/Hollywood/4205/ Edit: To open the FFX2Mov file, you need to use somthing like Winzip. THEN you must download this program: https://www.trentu.ca/wsc/files/lha255e.exe <- put it in its own folder (eg. c:\lha) and double click. Then, within winzip got to "Options > Configuration > Program Location" and in the "LHA" box browse to the directory with the LHA program in. Then you're able to extract FFX2 MOV. click on the program whereever you extract it to, and put your FFX cd in the drive. Swear if you're European.

Thanks, will try it now.
That's a reason why I dumbed WinZip a couple of years ago. It lacks the ability to extract other compression formats unless you've their program... Thus I moved to WinACE. EDIT: I tried FFX2MOV and it worked. Thanks. It extracts the audio stream separate from the MPEG-2 video stream, so I had to mux them together...
