Nudity in Games...
Yes... Games are maturing... I heard there was a DOA Volleyball game with a topless mode and some biking game with nudity... What do you think of games with nude contents? I think it should be added to give "depth" to the game and only when "necessary" but the future of games with nudity might affect the younger gamers (like me 14) to have an disadvantage... (I mean, parents dont favor gaming in teh first place... games with nudity?) Yea... what you guys think?

I think that it is ok as long as you have a button where you can switch the clothes on or off. So if you are horny (Usually all 14 year olds are) turn it off when your parents are not home.

Well i dont really care if there nudity or not in games. It might help sell more games to adults, but it also might have an effect on todays youth. But i bet when games like doa extreme volleyball and dave miras XXX the goverment will be all the developers and game industry again similar to the violence issue. But nudity in game in my eyes is less harmful then violence.

The FCC (an appointed body, not an elected one) is the only reason (that and some baptist minister from the south) that censorships in radio and television oriented media was implemented in the first place.
Ratings are fine, but keeping things such as nudity, profanity, and violence out of completely video games (even ridiculous immature ones like topless volleyball and BMX bicycling or whatever) is against the whole FREE SPEECH thing in the constitution. It might not be to your tastes, but PERSONAL TASTES do not translate into right or wrong. The only people complaining about even this are either kids whining because they can't get them yet, lazy parents who don't want to be bothered with learning what the hell the ratings system is, and zealoutrous, fundamentalist organizations ("Southern" church organizations, NOW) who want to force thier ways of life on everyone else. These people are not the majority, and I say props to the companies making these games for spitting in these organizations' faces.

yeah but if you think about it, it is your problem if you buy it or not, your choice. I baught State Of Emergency for my littkle cousin who is 11 now and I didnt realize what stuff and how bad it was until I watched him playing it. Like alot of games have ID warnings on them now so you have to have id to purchase. Which they dont even enforce. I think that they should put the rating bigger on the cover if the case then if it is Teen or bigger they should have a adult purchase the game for them. I heard that sony is also coming out with like 4 religious games for churches so that they can play them during sunday school or something. So if you think about it, that it is your own choice!!!

I definately would not have a problem with it
But seriously I think if it was done in good taste then it would be fine...if your allowed to decapitate people or get with a hooker while watching your car jumip without hydrolix then nudity is nothing, as long as they implement something that will warn parents before purchasing the game then I'm not against it

How 'bout a big bubble on the cover that says "WARNING!! POSSIBLE BOOBIES!!" for the less attentive parents out there??
Nah.. some of these twits will probably say it's too subtle.

I am a 17 year old male, i have no problem with nudity in games. not saying that it's good for todays youth, but i'd be lying if i said that i'm not looking forward to games with flashy breasts showing off their glammor as i work my fingers to the smoothly curved and rounded controls.

Look, all you do is put on there, "Nudity" under the rating of the game. And if the Rents don't notice it, then it's their fault for not being good parents plain and simple.

Come on. Do we really need to have nudity in games? No. I can see how people would like it, but many restrictions will be placed on them. Retailers will have to enforce the 18+ rule so they are able to sell them. Keeping them out of kids hands are impossible. The only way I see this working is that there is an online store and which a credit card purchase must be made. The cardholder must already be 18. If a kid gets the card, it appears on the statement anyways, so punishment will come sooner or later.
I, personally, will just keep playing the games I enjoy playing. The story is important to me, not how many different women show their breasts on the screen. How sad can players be?

If you don't like nudity or any mature theme in a game, don't get it. Don't let your kids get it. "Kids will get thier hands on these games".. Yah, sure. Kids get thier hands on playboys, too. It's natural, there's nothing wrong with it except to uptight pricks or religious fundamentalists, and they do not have the right to tell the REST of the United States what to do with thier console.
It's called freedom of speech and freedom of expression, people. You don't have to like it, but you have to support it. If not, get da f*** outta the country. Those FCC people did something UNCONSTITUTIONAL when they turned television and radio media into nothing but censored bull****, just because nobody but the intelligent minority of the time apparently really spoke out against it doesn't mean it gets to stay that way forever.

Yes, we have those freedoms, but we also shot ourselves in the foot when we gave the right to freedom of religion. They have a right to voice out against anything that goes against their "god's will". If the gov't doesn't do anything about it, then they are dening their constitutional rights. Its a lose-lose situation.

I propose an amendment to the constitution:
Freedom of Religion; As long as you leave everyone ELSE The HELL ALONE!

Hey, there's guys perfecting "jiggle" technology.. *shrugs* Just gotta find some female programmers? I have no problem with it regardless, I'll just let out a high-pitched scream and avert my eyes.
Being opposed to one kinda nudity and not another takes the flame out of an argument. Nudity is natural, pricks, jealous people, and religious zealots made it otherwise, that's it.
