Which genre of game (or game in specific even, if any at all) do you play when you've had a really bad, unpsetting, and/or stressful day?
Do you like to become Tidus and take on his problems and not think of your own? Or do you like to run around Vice City as Tommy Vercetti and beat random, innocent pedestrians? I prefer the latter. *bats eyelids innocently* ![]() [[NOTE: those were just a couple of examples, pick any game you like!]] |

GTA 3 and Vice City are of course the ultimate stress reliever, but once and awhile, I'd like to put in any RPG game that I can get lost into: totally forgetting about life's daily problems, rather focusing on saving the world. But then again, fighting games would work just as well for me, if not better; especially if you really want to kick somebody's ass.

Well when I am having a bad day I look to other things on my computer besides games
![]() But if that doesn't work I like to pull out a sports game and take it to whatever team I play next. It could be baseball, basketball, or football. (Depends on the season) Though Madden's pass defense makes it all but less stressful, it takes my mind off my problems. Though I suggest hitting your little sister or kicking your cat instead of hitting the wall or kicking a door. Or was it the other way around? Who cares both lead to injuries for someone.

I become Cloud from FF7, or Link from Ocarina of time, and take on their problems. Beating up Ganondorf, or blowing up Midgar's Reactor is always a good stress reliever for me.
Then again, if I'm stressed out at my uncles house, I go and beat his arse at Halo. lol and shooting someone from afar with a sniper rifle is pretty good stress relief too. lol

All depends on the mood...
If I'm depressed I play an RPG...so that I can take on a whole new life and role, and leave my worries behind as I take on someone elses... Or if I'm pissed...I'll play like Unreal Champ or Ghost Recon...there's nothing better than slaughtering actual people...and then telling them that I did afterwards... GTA's also work, but its just so much better knowing that I'm actually killing someone

it use to be RPG's for me. Especially Vagrant Story, there was just so many things that were great about that game. If i was feeling stressed i'd just spend like 30/40 mins customizing weapons and armor. Trying to see what kind of crazy stuff i'd get, from mixing diffrent types of steel and stuff. Since i didn't have a manual or anything on how to make things. It was basically just trial and error.
Now though it's Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball, the game is a masterpeice. Trying to get the girls in the best suits is a challange. The volleyball is fun too.. i have about a little over 40 hours logged into the game and still am losing every so often. The Casino is another plus, the most time i've spent in there was probably a good 45 mins. It's a great relaxing game.

If im stressed out and need to release my frustration I like to play Resident Evil or DMC. I like to kill people or creatures. Especially in RE 3 when I get to play Carlos and use his assalt rifle. I just go mad and shoot anything in site. It really makes me calm down.
