Daily Debate.
Just thought that this thread would be quite useful. You can debate about anything you want - daily.
News, sports, weather - whatever... so debate away people. Well my debate is mainly for UK users of the forums(sorry if I single you out - you can still join in if you have something to say) What do you think about the outcome of the Hutton report this week. Do you believe it was right, wrong or a bit of both? Personally I feel that it was wrong in the fact that it was a complete Labour whitewash and thats not just because I support the conservatives ideas ond concepts better.

I dont live in the UK so I cant comment on that. But ill say this in short
Bush spends more money in a foreign country and on a distant planet than he does on the United states. I fear that he may have completely given up on our economy......bring on John Kerry !

Is this Dean bloke Democratic or Republican? (I'm in the UK, so don't have a clue about US presidential races).

Everyone running this year is Democrat, with the exception of Bush who's re-running, and is a Republican.
*weeps* Oh, god, vote for Bert... anyone; just get Bush outta here. |

Actually its not "just the crap" i hear in the news. I have had long theoretical talks about his methods with people as well as done a lot of thinking about it based on research of possibilities of just what bush and his administration is up to in there. For republicans they feel it is easy to figure out...but what they think they figured out about bush's plan is incorrect. Democrats know they don't know what he's doing and that a lot of evidence based on his administrations actions leads the intelligent and those who look beyond and ask questions about it all.

Well it seems like you guys are pissed at Bush... its the same over the water here with that f*** up who goes by the name of "Blair". Aagh! He infuriates me. All this crap about how the BBC were wrong when he sexed up that dossier and there was no problem on the BBC's part. Hes just a twisting evil...
Actually I think its just time that people told Labour where to go and give the conservatives a chance (cos lets be honest the Lib Dems aren't up to much). If we spent more money in this country on education, health and other useful services including pensions we wouldn't be so f'd up. Blair just wastes money on himself taking holidays and getting his son off drugs (well he might have succeded there though). But the Hutton report was a complete wash over to Labour's side and the BBC took the rap for something they hadn't done. Labour knew there were no WMD in 45 minutes launch time and people sexed up that dossier to justify that war. Then again at least it got Saddam out of power.

Bush has yet to change much of anything for the better. He pretends to with his new medicare bill. But tha fact is he gave in to the big american drug companys. Alot of people were hopping over the border for better prices on thier prescritpions and Georgy boy puts a stop to that. If he gets re elected im going to make plans to move to canada. After seeing that "You Got Served" topped the box office with 16 million, that would be the straw that breaks this camels back...are americans really this stupid ? (BTW I WAS kidding...sort of) And another thing.... Quote:

I have to agree with what Vicious said. Bush is only looking out for two things: himself and the rich......make that three, I forgot about his daddy. That brings up another point, he's nothing but a puppet and Bush Sr. is pulling the strings. Bush Sr. couldn't get the job finished in the Middle East, so he sends his son to finish what he started.

I don’t think Bush has done that badly. Not great but not terrible. Remember the Checks and Balances from 3rd grade? Bush can't make every decision by himself it has to be approved first. And the thing about him only supporting the rich is funny. It really is.

The thing I fear most is that people are going to put a worse person in the White House just because he is not Bush. I don't care much for any of the Democratic candidates. Though I would probably vote for Dean or Kerry if I had a vote.
