Manga inspired by anime
Looking at Cowboy Bebop's manga I was really disappointed. The style is completely different from the one of the anime and the stories are, well, so so: weak, funny but weak.
The reason is that the manga was created after the anime and the mangaka is an artist who has nothing in common with Bebop, apart from the fact the creator of the anime called this person (I don't even remember if it's a woman or a man) to draw the manga.
I wonder if there's much sense in creating a manga after the anime only because the anime is successful, because when this happens, the manga is not much different than a doujinshi, both for quality and for ideas (ok, it's not hentai but not all doujinshis are hentai either...).
