The price drop is intriguing me too and I'm trying to gather up any money I can to purchase one before the 80gb hits the market. And yes, I am interested on how some PS2 games work on the PS3 so if you or anyone can let me know then that'll be dandy. Also, does anyone know if the price drop is permanent or for a short time only? Because I don't have any money but I really want to get the PS3 for the $500 price.
