An update to all the WC3 fans here on PS2 Fantasy who might've commited the sin of letting thier game CD's cool down.

Blizzard has now officially announced the expansion for WC3! Entitled WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne, the campaign promises to revolve around the final destruction of the Burning Legion forces and the machinations of both the fallen Demon Hunter Illidan Stormrage and the corrupted human prince Arthas in thier quests to gain the power of Ner'zhul through his prison of ice, the Frozen Throne of Northrend...

Other features of the expansion include-

A new Hero unit for each race
New units for each race to augment and add new strategies to players' arsenals
Player built shops equipped with items designed to improve upon the heroes of each race
Neutral heroes, hired as mercenaries for all races add a new element of variability to the game
Battle.net improvements to support Clan gaming, Tournaments, and new game types!
