If you could modify a PS2 and attach a wheel to the CD drive, it could reach 84 mph. It spins at 6,000rpm (at max 24x mode) - the same as a 1.8 litre Ford Mondeo at peak power. Even running flat out it would take 503 years for the PS2 to reach Jupiter, assuming the planet was at it's closest point to Earth, and a bloody long power lead.

It's amazing how there are 10.5 million transistors because there were only 40 transistors in the Odyssey, the first home console (I believe).
