Sadly, I don't watch animes anymore...but I'm trying to get back into the habit. I want to see something fresh and I heard about Death Note. A lot of people consider this anime a "masterpiece" and a live-action film was produced, so it must be good...but I wanted to get some opinions from people here.

Have you seen it? If so, is it as good as people say? Does the story seem like it would get repetitive quickly or does it move along?

Any other information would be useful. Thanks in advance.
