I don't know which program you use for image editing, but let's imagine you use Paint Shop, ok? You open the program first, then go to the desktop page and press the Print button. You don't have to press "Crtl P", you have to press the "Print" (or "Print Screen" or whatever it's called) button that is already on your keyboard. Where this button is, depends on the keyboard you're using. It's usually next to the "F12" button at the top of the keyboard, but as I said, it could be your keyboard is different. Then you come back to your image editing program right click and select "paste as new image". Then save. It should work. If you have another program that's not Paint Shop Pro, it should work in a similar way, or you can directly open a new file and paste the image into the new window.
