The world of videogaming is relatively new, so many people still have to understand that it's not something only aimed to an audience of kids.
You know, it was the same for cinema at the beginning of the XX century: the greatest part fo people thought it was something not really on the "cultural" side and they ignored it and despised actors and directors for a period. Then they had to change their minds and consider movies the same way as theatre and other forms of art. I think a similar process will interest the world of videogames.
