I agree. if you want a new console get a Wii. With Zelda. I played my first Zelda when I was 11, so it's more or less the age of your kids. They will love it. Wii Sports is included, so here's the other game if you want two. It's not cartoons, but it doesn't mean your kids won't like it. And it'll have the new Animal Crossing, too. I hope soon. I can't wait myself.

If you don't care about new consoles the PS2 is what you want to get. So many games... hard to pick only two. I will think about it a little longer.
