There is Japanese Cowboy Bebop manga (manga is usually released in Japan first anyway) but the problem is, the manga was made after the series finished. And...it's not so good...doesn't follow the anime storyline at all. Plus, the drawings are okay... There are actually two versions of the manga: one artist is by Kuga, Cain and he did the drawings for the first release. The second release is by Yutaka, Nanten and this version by him (her?) is probably the more known one. The story is by Yatate, Hajime the same guy who did The Big O story.

There are no other Bebop movies other than this one "Knockin' on Heaven's Door". The TV series is on DVD and you should be able to find it stores where they sell movies.

The story: there are 4 main characters are Spike, Jet, Faye, and Ed (and Ein if you count him ) who are bounty hunters and and trying to earn money by doing this. Each character have their own past that they must search and reveal and each episode helps the viewers understand them more. We get an insight into their past and what happened that made the characters the way they are. The reason why the series is called "Cowboy Bebop" is because cowboys are....well...rogues (right?) and they're free and each character reflect this. "Bebop" because the ship they're living in is called that (which belongs to Jet, who is considered "the fatherly" figure, so it makes sense that the ship is his) and also because "Bebop" is the term used for the music in this series.
