That's because people confuse genuine hunger with something else (gluttony included
). Most people eat when they don't need it at all. Some others eat food containing too much fat or calories (fast food restaurants offer almost exclusively this kind of food) and then they're not active enough to burn them all. Will power is the power to choose to not eat when you don't need it, or the power to choose healthy food.
