A possible new PS3 logo revealed, I really doubt that its going to be this, but still................ it does represent "CELL" technology.... as many Playstations linked togather..... and all that stuff.
But still.........its kinda weird......if the machine is going to be any close to this logo......then I dont know what to say. But they should make it completely different then Ps2's shape.

June 12, 2003 - At a recent RAMBUS/ELPIDA conference yesterday, Sony Computer Entertainment and memory company Elpida apparently revealed a first look at what appears to be the new PlayStation 3 logo.
As Sony and its associates grind closer to completing the costly, sophisticated and complex CELL technology, which is believed to be at the heart of the PlayStation 3, new partners and new developments have popped up along the way. Elpida, a young new company that's the joint cooperative effort of giants Hitachi and NEC, will work with Sony by providing RAM bus technology for the new console.
The logo itself is quite...curvy, kinda eggy, and very much the opposite of the PlayStation 2's hard-edged approach. Does this mean the PS3 also will look far different in shape and design than the PS2? If the logo is any indication of the new system, than we suspect so. If, in fact, it's real.
Emphasizing networking with circular designs and connectivity with abstract unclosed curvilinear lines, the PS3 logo looks more like an innovative typeface from the late 1970s than anything else.
Thanks to Dutch site DGS Online. Perhaps this is someone's old April Fool's joke...
