I'm not really sure what my favourite is... the best final fantasy games (ff6, 7 and tactics) are too close, and I'm not sure which one is best (they have strengths and weaknesses in each area... though they all have fairly naff, yet endearing graphics)... and these games are hardly comparable to my PC favorites... heres a top 5 list, more or less chosen at random:

1) Final Fantasy 6 [SNES / PS1]
2) Final Fantasy Tactics [PS1]
3) Homeworld [PC]
4) System Shock 2 [PC... you're as likely to have played it as you're likely to get struck by lightning.]
5) Final Fantasy 7 [PS1]
