Many people (in the US mostly, no offense) really can't stand all the love stories going on. Especially guys (no offense again). People think it's unnecessary and flat-out annoying. But I agree with you CC. A nice love story can be a great addition to any anime, but it just depends on the plot. Like, HeatGuy-J has none of it whatsoever.
