I feel that computer animation will never take anime under control.

No matter how much cool effrects you put in a japanese cartoon, it's nothing without any of the awesome drawings. Like bebop, or ghost in the shell. They are so filled with cg it's almost scary. But the drawings themself are unbelievable. But with those animes that are entirely cg, they suck and aren't the shows that we knew to love. The shit which is entirely cell drawings. the big eyes, and the pointy chins. that's what anime is, and it will never leave entirely. And the cging can only make all of those cool explosions and mecha fight scenes twenty times better.

So you have nothing to fear.
