Finished the following books last year:
The Beautiful Blue Death by Charles Finch
Chasing the Devil's Tail by David Fuller
The Poe Shadow by Matthew Pearl - the book is a fiction and it presents another theory to Poe's mysterious death. If you're a Poe fan, I would NOT recommend reading this book because Pearl, though a good writer, focused too much on his main character Quentin and his idiocy babblings and actions so by the time you get to the theory of Poe's last days (at the last few pages, btw) you really just don't care. I admit the theory is rather interesting and plausible although a bit far-fetched at the same time.
Yeah it's not much but with lack of time and my ADD, this is considered pretty grand.
Finished this book a few days ago:
Comment je suis devenu stupide (How I Became Stupid) by Martin Page - very funny and witty book. I think all the people who are conformist sheep (which is, wait, 75% of the whole world?) should read this but it wouldn't matter because they probably wouldn't get it.
Currently reading:
Waiter Rant by Steve Dublanica. Everyone, EVERYONE, should read this book. Even if you've never been in the food-service industry in your life, it'll help open your eyes to the fact that, omg! waiters and waitresses are actually people so you can stop acting like you're holier than thou and being so rude and acting oh-so-knowledgeable just because of the film "Ratatouille" when you don't know jack so please shut up.
