Hello,

I need to know a few facts about Final Fantasy XI, since I am thinking about retrieving a copy of it, and Chains of Promathia, after I save up for a new graphics card.

What I need to know is how much customization can be done to a character. I already know that a person can change the hair, weight, face, and race. What I do not know is how much of that can be done. Bluntly, how much of the characters can you add hair to, can you add a beard/mustache (or both) to all male characters, how many hair colors does each character possess, and mainly the main reason is fully customizable, is it?

How fun is Final Fantasy XI, is it an amazing game, or just a money grabber. What are things that a person is capable of doing in Vana'diel. How is communication in this game, poor/average/pretty good/astounding/amazing. Is the whole MMORPG a must, and is the whole game itself welcoming and inviting as it seems.

I might not be able to get it since the payment method is not to my parents liking, but I just want to find out about it. Thanks for the input, if any.
