PS2 Models.. which one to get?
 
Hi guys. I intend to get a PS2 this year. The thing is, there are several models eg Japanese, American and Asian type. Which one is the one most suitable for me.

And how about the dvds themself? J, U/C, Pal? Which one is compatible with which? I am living in Singapore, and do not want to end up having limited games.

I am confused, someone please help me. Thanks in advance

Yeah thats your best bet right there but as for the model itself like SCPH-3001 3001R etc.. I called sony and they said ther really isnt mus of a difference other than that the 3001 has dvd drivers already installed on it
