what are moderators ?

Mods are kinda of like the police of forums they can move threads close them depending if there placed in the wrong area or if the topic at hand is harmful to readers and has nothin to do with topics discussed.Basically they limit out spam

You would have to ask one of the admins (harry or Fortune)But as far as i know it matters how long your on this forum and how often you post.I think they'll only make you a mod if you are on alot to monitor the threads

A mod is a reliable person, who also knows how a forum works.
I don't think you have the necessary experience to become a mod, and you're still a newbie :D |
Some members asked to be mods, then the forums crashed and had to start all over.
Now we have 100 members so it's not too difficult to control everything for the mods we have. But I think wehn we reach a larger number of members, we'll need some new mods. |

Whining is fun!!!:D Anyways i thought they chose mods not just gave rights away,owell. Sigh :( Welp i'll just continue to put up post and hope someday i'll be a mod

Mourdor became a mod after the old forums crashed. He asked and he spent a lot of time here after the "accident", while others who asked before the crash seemed not so interested in this place anymore. We also lost a couple of older mods for different reasons (jjmoohead and farfus), so we said "why not?" and after some time after having asked we made him a mod.
