The greatest ff boss ever

I was eatin my pig snacks playin ff7 (beating it for the 20th time) and i thought who is the coolest boss I think personally is the boss from ff4 but i cant remember his name (tell me if you know pleaze) I wanna here other opinoins

As for THAT boss in FF4, you are going to have to speak up and describe him more. There are lots of boss fights in FF4. If you are talking about Zeromus, the final boss, than there you go.

I think my favorite boss is Palmer from FF7. He is an annoying fat guy with a really nice mako gun. Best part about him, after you defeat him, he gets nailed by a Shin-ra truck. Hell yeah for comedy.

I say the greatest boss in FF is Osmos. Ya know, the big spinning ball from FF9. He's like Impossible to beat. I do not know anyone who beat him/her....IT! If you have , tell me.

I have. Don't recall it being too hard. One thing I do remember, is that you've got to encounter all of the friendly battles and give away your precious jems. If you get them all, Ozma moves closer so you don't have to rely on long-range attacks.

Hardest IMO was FF7's Emerald Weapon. I never really played enough of FFX's sidequests, but I hear there are some mega-difficult bosses there.

Emerald Weapon from Final Fantasy VII. It took me forever to level up my characters and materia, especially the materia several times over to beat that dude. I totally creamed him. I was so proud. :D

ruby weapon i had to play for 200 hours to become strong enough to beat that big boy into submission now that was an accomplishment to behold :)

The bosses of FFX are shitty, at best. Seriously, some are so easy it's not even funny. However, if you're talking about the arena mode (which is a sidequest type thing) then yes, you are abosolutely right.

Even if you beat the whole game (provided you have a save fascilitating you to the arena), if you go back to those plains, get ready to get your arse owned by just about all of them. I myself never got very far. This one monster with two heads kept KO'ing my entire party before I could even get any commands in. I did hear though that the last boss in there is called "Nemesis" or something and that... omg, the only thing you will be saying is "WTF?"

So yeah, FFX has some really tough bosses, but in that particular sidequest/mini game only.

Anyways, I personally think that the harded boss is Omega Weapon from FF8, mainly because if you don't have the right items, then you can't win! That boss battle was looong. Argh. I died so many times. The runner up is, as Kupo said, Emerald Weapon with its bastard "Air Stomp." :mean:

Hmm... why are the harded bosses the optional ones? They should make a super tough boss like that for an ending, not a cake walk like they usually do.

yea that happened to me too but soon i just got so PO'ed that i just went all out and made it through that stupid crap...but i must say i made it out just barely....

This is a tough one... See, if it's out of ass-kickingestness, I'd have to say someone like Ozma, or Omega Weapon (VIII), or Emerald/Ruby Weapon; but if it's out of sheer funkiness, I think the best are either Gilgamesh :shappy:, Ultros or, indeed, Sephiroth.
