Moderators.. problem

Some of these threads won't load for some of us. I started that thread Vicious_2003 birthday and it has Beserker's name on it. That won't load either.

Something is royally wrong here.

That other Vicious thing won't open for none of my friends and neither did that thing from Piggle.

What's going on?

First of all remember these threads don't go to Gen Chat but to Help & FaQ forum. Second, I think it's somebody's signature fault. The new forums won't load entirely too big sigs, but create a link or a thumbnail for them. They can create problems in pages loading times though, if they are linked the wrong way or their size is excessive. I think that's the problem with some threads that won't load.

Sorry but all you can do is keep on trying to access the thread. Or everybody with probs with their sgs should remove them.

There was another identical thread by beserker and that one was working fine. I had to merge the threads. Next time check Gen Chat to make sure there isn't another thread like yours already, hehehe. So yes, I do really think the problem could be with your sig, lost_myth. I could enter the thead, so it is only a temporary problem for some people.

EDIT: it was Infernal Mass sig's fault.. I removed that and now the thread is working fine

Yeah people, it's the sigs fault. We cannot accept anymore too big or permanently non-working sigs. We'll try to fix it if we can, but please check your sigs to make sure they're working, otherwise as you see they'll cause troubles and they'll be removed.

I've kind of identified a problem with my sig... not tried it in IE (i'm using Firefox), but the link attached to the image extends to the edge of the page, so if you click away from the image, the link activates as if i'd clicked the image itself. Hope that isn't causing people problems...

Sorry, I didn't read this post and it wasn't reported to me. I knew about the problem, and for this reason I posted the thread asking if anyone had performance issues with the forums. Now, I've an answer, so thank you for reporting.

I'll try to fix it today, even though this will surely mean some relevant change to the img submitting code...
