MGS3 help

Errr.... I'm sure someone here has done it. Got the Stealth camo by finding them frogs....

I'm trying to find them frogs right now and I'm having trouble finding the one in Chyomij Prud. I'm reading a faq and it's saying it's underwater but I'm searching all through this area underwater..... trying not to get bit in the ass by a croc.

So yea. Where exactly or how do I get to that damn frog.

Ah, it's been a long time since I beat this game. I remember I tried finding all frogs but kind of lost interest in the process. I remember I had a croc suit and a croc cap, and I think it was with the croc suit that I would hear the frogs when they were near.

(As for the real crocs, I just killed them with the Patriot)

I have the strategy guide and it has a section on this (I've only played a little of the game actually... can't take my PS2 to uni :/)

12. Chyornyj Prud: Dive down at the tree on the right where you found the Crocodile Hat in the water. You'll find a Kerotan on the left side of the trunk.

^ - a very imprecise map, drawn with reference to a map in the strat guide, that at least gives you some rough idea of where to look.

Some camo called the GA-KO supposedly "allows you to hear a kerotan's call". You find it in the very same area that you're looking for this kerotan! It's on the opposite side of the right hand exit path that the kerotan is marked on my map

screw the frogs, its much easier to have "NO ALERT" throughout the whole game to get the stealth camo.

O_O SHIT.... Got the frog but I didn't know anything about that camo. (And I can't go back either..... DAMN) Thanks for the map though.... I may ask again.

Uhh.... no alerts isn't really my style. I'm too anxious to get through things so I just kill them.... and cause riots or whatnot.

And about this animal thing.... I suppose to lay mouse traps for it or something..... What does it look like?

just an additional tip: if you get tired trying to get the Kerotans in one playthrough, you can actually get them all by going through the game as many times as you like, so long as you start a new game using a completed save. Best to note down which Kerotans you have though. The GA-KO camo will tell you if there's an un-shot kerotan in the area as well.
