Dreamcast

My older brother just picked up a Dreamcast along with essential periphials and a bunch of games.

My question is; which games are the "musts" for the Dreamcast?

I've gotten pretty deep into Grandia II and Shenmue and Virtua Tennis is fantastic.

a short list

Metropolis street racer.. to be honest the best racer on dreamcast!

Phantasy Star Online - sure the online servers might be down but you will be in awe

Crazy taxi 1 or 2 (but not both) - both are good but basically the same game.. still both classics though!

Space channel 5 - excellent game very nice

Samba amigo - a dance dance revolution game but with marracas!!

Sonic Adventures 2 - the mascot in the better version of the platformer

Ikaruga - i shouldnt say anymore.. coolest game ever

Chu chu rocket - BEST puzzell-em-up on any console

SOUL CALIBER - the god of 3d fighting games on the dc you will not go wrong

Good luck finding all these games! but check out Dc emulation for some emulation stuff for dreamcast

Erm... you got some of them, I would say, Grandia II and the rest if there is any, shemnue and soul caliber.

I would have to say get the Ikaruga (I think Japanese version can be found) I have that, and it just rocks. Also.....Skies Of Arcadia if you like RPGs.....

I got myself "Tennis 2k2", "Soul Calibur", "Ikaruga", and a couple more. I am gonna get Crazy Taxi, and Sonic games on it. Also, Daytona USA.

If you havent played Skys of Arcadia id say GRAB THAT. That is one of my all time favorite RPG's, AWESOME game. And I cant belive Shenmue wasnt mentioned (Atleast I didnt see it mentioned yet) Id say if your a patient gamer pick up Shenmue.

Quake 3 and bomberman are really fun! Capcom vs Snk is a classic at my house.

here ar my recommendations:-

shenmue 1 or 2-both brilliant

virtua tennis 1 or 2-addictive(if ur a tennis fan)

f355 challenge-hard but good

dead or alive 2-excellent game

one i heard was good but never played is samba de amiga(the one wih the maracas)
does any1 have this game.it is very rare nowadays
