is it just me or are you bored of vc
 

i might sound crazy but does anyone else not enjoy vc as much as gta 3? its great and all but it seems like it could have been better.

Both games are instant classics. GTA:III being the first brake through in games of it's kind; Vice City being a suped-up sequel with more freedom for the character.

I don't think I will /ever/ get bored of either of these... they are both great for their own reasons. I tend to like Vice City more because there are plenty different missions with really different ideas behind them and I like how you can buy buildings/clubs/etc. and change the character's clothes at your leisure. I also like the idea of being able to go inside the buidlings to get healed, hide out or buy some food and the fact that Tommy has his own voice and own actions compaired to GTA:III's 'quiet guy'. (did he ever have a voice?)

What are your reasons for bringing this up? How could VC have been better?

its kinda hard to explain. like gta 3 was a breakthrough in videogames but vice city seems like more of the same. dont get me wrong vice city is still one of my favorite games but it couldnt have been longer and some new gameplay addtions should have been there.

Makes sense... but what do you mean by 'gameplay additions'?

Im bored of VC , completed it and now and again just mess about on it, for the new gameplay additions, I thought there was plenty, helis, planes, motorbikes, rc races and plenty more.

Haven't played it yet and now you guys make it sound less interesting then I had thought before.

It's got replay value, but its too repetitive.

You'll get a few weeks of absolutely great gameplay, then another couple of weeks of adequate replay value, then you'll get sick of it and only play it not very often just for kicks.

Of course thats just me, you may get a lot more fun out of it than me, but its pretty ineviatable that the game wil lstop being fun.

Only way to stop that, is to make a GTA Online, with lots of updates added regular and such, but I doubt that will happen.

Well VC would be the first and probably only one I've played. I might get more kicks out of it than some other poeple because I don't play many games like it. Well, I'll let you guys get back to the main point of the topic now.

That can happen with any game though. I suppose a way to fix that would be to take it in small doses. :)

That was just delay the time until you got sick of it, but, thats what new games are for :)

i agree with you mark0. they should make the next gta online. next game i wanna see some more better cities. the ones in vc looked almost the same as gta 3. and lets see some less glitches!!! anyone else have ideas on the next gta game.

Trunks you need to get this game, it is probally one if the best titles you can get for ps2. Give it a rent and see what you think, VC is simply amazing for about 2 months then gets a bit boring.

Yea, maybe destuctible enviroments!
And a fighter jet.

ya i would like to see bycycles and skateboards. and maybe even kids and pets. i hope next one they will include a 2 player mode or online

Yea, rockstars are doing GTA online, but I think its going to be a seprate release from the next GTA.

is it gonna be under the name of gta or something else?

Honestly, Tommy should be able to swim. Maybe they could have a couple scuba missions or something too.
