2nd Annual Offical FFTrivia Thread

Well, about this time last year, Soul Angel and I created probably one of the most popular threads on the forum. Not a single thread here ever had as many posts to it. Now, with some newcomers over the past months, I'm sure we can do and have some more fun. Just be sure to know the little details of FF games as any question is fair game.

Rules:

I think you all now how a chain quiz work. However, there will be no confirmation needed, so if you feel that you have the right answer, then put up a new question. If you are just simply guessing, don't bother as it'd be unfair if for some reason it was wrong.

Cloud can buy a katana in Wutai, and its called "Murasame" if you're talking about his original sword, its The Buster Sword.

Safer Sephiroth's attack is Super Nova.

Jenova is the one he claims to be his mother, but thats just a theory. His real mom is Lucrecia, a woman implanted with Jenova Cells by the evil Hojo. She is also the woman that Vincent spent a large amount of time in a coffin for.

Q: in what form do moogles (or a moogle) feature in Final Fantasy VIII?

Having supposedly lost Celes anyway, Locke hunts for the legendary Esper "Phoenix" so that he can revive his childhood love Rachael he fails.

Question: After FF Origins and FFXI are released in the USA, which will be the only numbered FF game not to have been released in Japan and the USA (clue: the game hasn't been used, but the number has)

Bonus Question (for which you gain nothing!) What does Kefka alledgedly repeatedly say in the Japanese Version of FFVI, when Celes stabs him (instead of "Ouch, Ouch, Ouch etc.") :laugh:

and btw, "a summon" is a little vague, even if its correct :happy:

I don't see how that's vague. Would a moogle is in the choco/mog summon be better?

Oh and I have no idea as the answer(if it was so easy I guess this wouldn't be much of a trivia thing, now would it?)

Choco/Mog was actually FF7, but we've moved on anyways... (guess i need to make my questions more simple :laugh: ) the answer to that question was the Mini-Mog item from Chocobo World (Pocketstation yes, but It does say In the manual! )

and yes Artists is very tough, so i'm going to look it up this afternoon see what I can come up with.

Im going to guess FFVI, as im sure that was FFIII in US right?

actually its the over way round... we're yet to get FFIII outside of Japan ^_^ ...
