when will ps3 be realesed in your opinion?
 

:) hey guys , in your opinion when will the ps3 be realesed? i think in 2006 or end of 2005 cose sony said that the cell would only be finished in 2005.
do u think all ps2 graphic abilities were already made?:confused:

I sincerely don't think we have still seen the full power of the Ps2 in action. There will be great things in the future, the hardware is not easy to master.

Although the PS2 is the best console at the moment but surely therewill be a better console in a few of years which will be faster, more powerful and better graphics.
However the PS2 should be fine for a long time.
I think also the PS3 will be available around 2006/2007

I also think the PS3 won't be out until 2005 or more

But we've still let to see what the PS2 can really do, its still such early days for it to show us its true power on what it can do! :)

not for a long time, the Ps2 will live for a whil, why ruine a good thing by throwing some thing else into the mix now, they will wait then maybe in 2008 ar some time around then they will release it.

I'm guessing 2006-2007. I really hope they don't bring it out before then, cause I don't really want to sink my money into another new system really soon.

I think end 2005 early 2006(probably OCT.). I cant wait to see it, the combo of IBM, Toshiba and Sony seem to be working really well. With this team, we should see "true Broadband".

Not for awhile in my opinion, since ps2 came out less then 2 years ago. But i wont be as much time as it was between psx and ps2. I'd say give it at least another year and a half.:p

From the release date of PSone to PS2 was about 5 years or so... I think that's good time for a system... late 2005 to early 2006 sounds reasonable

If you guys are to follow facts(psx to ps2 date)then u really wount get the actual period of the next release.Technically speaking,the ps2 has 3-CPUs in one and up till now,developement houses havent yet started using the second CPU of the ps2 thats why the graphics of most ps2 games look nothing different than that of the Dreamcast.Conclusively,in my opinion i think the only time the ps3 will be released is only after all 3-CPUs of the EE processor are made use of.

2005 tis the date, or really late 2004...

2006 Because 4 years will be enoguh till i get bored of my ps2. :)

Whenever the PS3 comes out, i just hope i can use all of my old games. The backwards compatability is a great PS2 feature, and it would be great to continue w/ that on the next console as well. As for getting bored, I think that will only happen when the next-gen consoles come out and PS2 graphics are obsolete. I dont forsee this in the near future though.

Do you guys know that Sony is using Pull-inflation so that it will sell its console(PS2)?
