Silent Hill: Homecoming

I don't want to give a long review right now because I have not yet quite beaten the game, but I would like to say that it is most definitely worth buying.

I am going to make a bold statement and say that it combines some of the best elements of Silent Hill 1, 2 and 3, successfully steering the series away from the debacle that was Silent Hill 4 and back on track with a Silent Hill that is actually most reminiscent (in some ways) of a personal favorite of mine; Silent Hill 2!

So I will keep you all posted when I beat the game. ;)

I would say it is a good game. I've beaten it a few times already. Plus I got all the achievements for it! Yay! Some drawbacks is that is a bit shorter than the other SH games. The puzzles arent hard to figure out, I mean as long as you take a good look at your surroundings there will be some sort of clue. I would have liked to have experienced more of Sheperd's Glen, (where this game mostly takes place). Also it took some things from the SH movie which I guess is ok. Now I wont spoil it for those who want to play and say excatly what was taken from it. Some new elements in the game for example is the combo kills. You have your light and heavy attacks then of course if chained together in a sequence creates a nice lil combo attack. Theres also new enemies mixed with old which is nice. Then we have the different endings which is determined by the decisions you make in the game. Now there are 3 key decisions that determine one of the five different endings. I guess if I could categorize each ending it would be the good ending(which everyone usually gets first time through), the bad ending, the sad ending, the realistic ending, and the wtf that doesnt make any sense but is funny ending. If anyone plays and needs help let me know! Enjoy!
