SEGA's Kunoichi, Dororo, and Altered Beast screens (56K warning)

altered beast looks really good. I only got to play the original once and that was in an arcade a long time ago. I wish there was some more screen shots of kunoichi. The game sounds interesting if it's the sequel to shinobi.

here's what Dororo originally looked like. it was based on an old Manga from the author of Metropolis and Astroboy.

Kunoichi isnt the sequel to shinobi

Due out this fall, Kunoichi is a spin-off of sorts that borrows several elements from OverWorks's previous PlayStation 2 game. Similar gameplay mechanics have been included and upgraded; for example, Kunoichi, the heroine clothed in white, can pull off an unlimited number of tates besides normal attacks. OverWorks is making a conscious effort the make Kunoichi easier than Shinobi after receiving complaints, though.

But most interesting is the news that Kunoichi will feature vast, urban environments instead of the linear, plain landscapes of Shinobi. Villains will be military personnel instead of demons..

I personally can't wait for kunoichi. It makes me want to give shinobi another go (Damn that final boss!:mad:)
