Buddy List??

Hey guys/gals. I'm pretty new here (obviously) and I'm wondering how to make use of the Buddy List. I figured out how to add people to it, but what good is it after that?

I think the buddy list is just to manage your contacts and friends you have on the forums in a easy and quick way.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I couldn't find a way to even open the buddy list or display it. I can add people to it, but I must be missing something after that. Thanks.

I hate to be a pest about this, but is there any way to display the Buddy List after you add people to it? I can add people, but I can't figure out how to get to it after that, except to add more people.

Am I missing something, or is that just the way it is? Thanks.

No, I don't think you can display it. Though I'm not very sure of that....

Maybe an admin can give you a better answer though.

I think you are probably right about that. The only thing I can see that it does is put a plus sign after the persons name in the "who's online" section.

It sure would be cool to have the people in your buddy list show up on the main forum page though. Guess I've seen that on other forums and got spoiled to it.

Drafter-T, can you expand on it? I don't understand, maybe it's something we can add easily to the forums. Let me know, as we are working to upgrade the website and add new websites; the forums should hopefully be more active after that.

Harry, what I was talking about in my previous post was pretty much what I see in the BL now that I've found out how to get to it. Sorry about missing the link up there!

Cool, I never used this feature myself. I guess a link in the Buddy List page to the real list would be useful?
