Name Color
I noticed some people have colored names. I was wondering how can you do that... It's nice, not useful maybe, but nice, so I'd like to know how to get that.
Thank you. |
You have to get a certain amount of gil and buy it at the store.
I don't know how much it costs however. |
936.00 gils :X

You can gain Gils by your activity on the forums. By posting and constantly participating, you'll gain Gils everytime. You also gain (I believe) a little more by posting drawings/photos in the PS2Fantasy Gallery (of course, you can't just go posting a random picture at every second :heh: ). Or, you can play in the Arcades and try to be the Champion of a game and you'll win the Jackpot money. This boosts up your Gils. Or if someone is kind enough to donate some Gils to you, you can gain Gils. :)

If you donate to the PS2fantasy support program you you get a buncha gils!
|
What is this support program? Anyway, seems like you don't have to work too hard to get gils. I mean, I'm new and I have some, I'm not completely "pennyless". I'll try to post more, so I will get all these fancy stuff :D

Harry explains the Support Program here: https://forums.ps2fantasy.com/showthread.php?t=7682 and the forum-side benefits of being a donator are explained in this faq:
https://forums.ps2fantasy.com/faq.php?faq=ps2fantasy Basically, the support program is a way of encouraging donations towards PS2Fantasy.com's upkeep because it's damned expensive to run. It is of course, entirely voluntary and no-one is expected to donate, especially someone who hasn't been around long enough to feel guilt about getting a great resource for free! (I've been here 2 and half years - if PS2F was a magazine, i'd probably have had to pay subscription fees of like £450. You've not even been here a month, so you really owe nobody anything ^^) As for colourising your name (when you get enough gils - keep posting and it shan't be long ^^), you'll find that it uses the same "pallette" as that which you use to colour your writing (like the "pink" which i'm using now.) However, you can theoretically use any colour you want if you know it's HTML colour number. For instance - 89B8FF may look like a bunch of garbled letters and numbers, but when its used as a colour tag It will give you this pretty blue colour ^^. You can find out the HTML colour numbers when mixing colours in the pallete of a program like Photoshop - if you ever find a colour that you like, get somebody to look up the number of that colour or do it yourself :) |
