Are you a core or casual gamer?
 

...or something in between? I think I'm more of a core gamer than a casual - I have all three consoles, a PC and about 30 or more games. I buy games on a fairly regular basis and I play every chance I get. I usually finish my games on the hardest setting. I have a favorite genre (shooting / action adventure) and I even subscribe to gaming magazines. If that isn't core, then it's whatever comes next.

Hardcore(I assume that's what you mean by core).

I own the 3 new gen systems.

I have been playing my SNES these days, even though I still need to find the rest of my Legendary games.

I also get gaming magazines like Gamepro and Game Informer.

I play games every day. :D

I would say HARDCORE, play games everyday, if I get some time, I just got my new broadband connection fitted today! (Hooray:))
So im leathering my PC games online, getting xbox live and buying games constantly, I work part time in a video game store and talk constantly about video game to my work mates, so I consider myself hardcore, oh and I spend like £20-50 a month on video games magazines.

aj is cool, he posts at alot of spots i know of.

I think he works for the goverment or something..you know he makes up questions and stuff and get's paid. Sorta like a spy but..without all the fringe benefits (hot women, cars, missle launchers, free health care etc.)

I'd say I'm in between a casual and hardcore gamer. I only own one game console and I didnt get ti anywhere near its release date but I do play games quite often. I also will play all day long if I have nothing else to do. But I dont own many games, only 5.

I would probably be a hardcore gamer if I had a better paying job sicne I have to pay for all my gaming necessties and when I go but stuff I have priorites. First its my car, then clothes, then stuff for my room, then gaming. If I have a girlfriend it'll be a struggle between buying stuff for my car and her.

eh, i consider myself a casual gamer even though i have over 100 games, and play all day. a hardcore gamer is like a guy who owns almost all the old consoles (atari, commodore 64, msx) and collects rare games

I own 4 systems, I have about 45 games 37 games. I don't know what i will call myself. I just like to play game. Get them over with, and just do nothing.

I don't play games so much anymore. I don't count yesterday, I haven't been playing them for about two weeks. The most of my time goes to summer job, buddies, parties, football...

i play the games that matter for pc and my ps2, and get fairly competant at both.

I own the 3 next gen systems plus a Dreamcast. If my games had not been stolen, I would probably have around 50-60 games right now.

I play 2 or 3 hours every day, and in my days off I may play some 5 or 6 hours.

You tell me what kind of player I am because I really don't know. I love games, but they're not my life, as they used to be 5 years ago.

I use to be a core gamer i use to play games from 8 to 9 hours straight but that was awhile ago. But i dont really play games as much maybe about an hour or two each day or perhaps even less.
So i say casual i guess:P

i have ps2 xbox and pc. i have bout 150 games(thats all 3) and i play games everyday, varies how much dependin what im doin but bout 3-4 hours at least most days. When i get new games i do complete them i dont just play till i get bored so id say im a hardcore gamer.

I'm more a hardcore gamer.

I have nearly every system since Collecovision and Intellivision, including DC, Xbox, GC, ps2, and GBA, and I'm only 16, and I'm not rich. I have played at least 900 games and own around a total of 400.

I have my genres ranked in order, and know exactly the classifications of each. I get 6 gaming magazines every month, and have been for 3 years.

If that's not core, I'm the next best thing.
